Sewn Open Mouth Bags

The Sewn Open Mouth (SOM) bag is available in multiwall paper, PaperWoven™ (a hybrid of paper laminated to woven polypropylene or woven polyethylene), and woven, with or without a coated and/or glued or laminated poly liner. The sewn bag is described as the original multiwall bag partly because of the low capital investment required by customers to sew close this versatile, reliable, and cost-effective bag solution. Since 1994 SeaTac Packaging has been a lead innovator of the SOM bag style by manufacturing the first PaperWoven™ in the US market.

This bag style is commonly used to protect agricultural seeds, chemicals, beans, dry pet food, grains, lawn & garden, plastic materials & silicates, rice, salt, spices, sugar, USAID, wood products.

• Various sizes available but the most common fill capacity is 50 lbs or 25 kg
